As a qualified doctor in the Philippines he decided to move to New Zealand and further his training and career. Having spent two years working in Dunedin hospital he returned to Gisborne to complete his General Practice training. “I missed the people and the climate of Gisborne and wanted to return and settle with my family”.
Jun really enjoys the variety of General Practice “It is great to interact with so many diverse people, I really enjoy building the long term doctor patient relationships and feel it is important to get to know your patients”
Jun has a particular interest in palliative and is keen to expand his knowledge in this area with the help from the Three Rivers team of doctors.
“I like the close community here, the ease of travel to other places for time out. I love that you never have to travel far to go to work, and that I am able to balance my professional time with my family time.”
Jun is happy to welcome to new patients and looks forward to building a lasting relationship.
